Supreme condition monitoring efficiency


Intellinova Parallel EN continuously monitors your critical equipment, capturing relevant events without delay. Sixteen synchrononus channels for vibration and/or shock pulse measurement with the DuoTech accelerometer, and eight RPM channels can be used for data acquisition on machinery with complex drives, even under variable operating conditions.

The system tracks and manages changes in process and operating conditions, providing a reliable snapshot of equipment condition for entire machines. Measurement assignments can be set up to trigger individual channels or multiple system units in parallel and synchronously. The Condmaster diagnostic and analysis software offers user-defined filter settings, live spectrums and live views of the state of all connected devices.

Areas of application


With parallel and synchronous condition measurement on up to sixteen channels, Intellinova Parallel EN is a perfect fit where measurement is time-critical due to short process cycles, e.g. rolling mills, railcar dumpers, press nips, winders, or lifting and hoisting equipment such as cranes or drop sections.

Implementing HD condition monitoring technologies, the system is the ideal choice for gearboxes - including planetary gears - and low speed applications (from below 0.1 RPM) such as agitators, crushers or conveyors. It is also suitable for more straightforward applications like motors, pumps and fans.

Intellinova Parallel EN can be run alongside its siblings in the Intellinova family of online systems in an integrated system, or as stand-alone units.

Measuring methods


Intellinova Parallel EN implements the most sophisticated and efficient technologies available for monitoring vibration levels, bearing condition and lubrication effectiveness:

Parallel MB

Intellinova Parallel MB is a small and robust unit for parallel condition measurement on four channels. The unit is available in two versions; either for vibration measurement - with optional shock pulse measurement via the DuoTech accelerometer - or for shock pulse measurement only.

High-performance characteristics and easy configuration


Intellinova Parallel MB measures in parallel on all four channels and provides immediate indication of current operating condition. The unit can operate in an online or an offline mode. A number of pre-programmed configurations are available for easy selection with rotary switches on the front panel.

Intellinova Parallel MB can operate as an offline device - where further analysis can be done using for example portable instruments on the unit's isolated signal output - but is also easily integrated into existing industrial automation systems via Modbus RTU. Alarms can be set with or without a delay, based either on time or on a number of measurements. Measuring results and symptom values are compared with the alarm level set up and can activate one of six digital inputs/outputs which can be configured to control a relay, for example. To ensure that no critical events go unnoticed, the unit can be set up to repeat its configured measurements as often as possible.The status of the latest measurement is indicated by a LED on the front panel. Two parallel RPM inputs can be used for measurements with HD Order Tracking. The units have a robust aluminum housing and are intended for DIN rail mounting.

Vibration measurement unit - Dual Technology


The unit measures the vibration level on all four channels in parallel. When used with the DuoTech (Dual Technology) accelerometer, it can also be used for shock pulse measurement. The unit provides continuous monitoring of operating condition by means of:

The Intellinova System is comprised of an industrial enclosure, a Commander Unit, internal cabling and terminals for power supply. Up to four monitoring units can be mounted and are ordered separately. The enclosure, intended for wall mounting, is robust and sealed for use in harsh environments. The unit has a flange with one cable inlet for eight measuring cables plus two cable inlets for power supply and network connection. It has three blind plugs where additional cable inlets (Pg29) for up to 32 measuring cables can be mounted. Holes for cable inlets intended for digital in- and output connections have to be drilled. The DIN rail has terminal blocks and cabling for connection of power supply. The unit has an earth rail (DIN) where the measuring cable shields should be connected. The unit is equipped with plastic cable channels and status indicators on the lid. Power supply unit, accessories for DIN rails, internal cabling and cable inlets are ordered separately. Technical specifications for the Commander Unit are stated on data sheet TD-271. The various types of monitoring units are described on the data sheets TD-272 to TD-275. Compact

 

 

Intellinova Compact is a high performance system, well suited for remote monitoring or industrial environments with measuring points in spread-out clusters.

 

Areas of application

Wind turbines, pumping stations and auxiliary equipment are a few examples where Intellinova Compact is the ideal condition monitoring solution. Fans and gearboxes, including planetary gears, are typical applications. Implementing the SPM HD measuring technique, it is also the appropriate choice for low speed applications (0.1-50 rpm) such as agitators, crushers, conveyors or cranes, etc. Intellinova Compact is fully compatible with its siblings in the Intellinova family of online systems and can be run in an integrated system or as standalone units.

Optimal cost efficiency

The system is available in three versions, each with a fixed channel configuration for shock pulse and vibration measurement. All versions come with multiple rpm and analog inputs as well as status outputs. Using the IntelliLogic functions, these hardware features can be taken full advantage of. Having the capability to accept process data and evaluate the running condition based on that information and on measurement data, the Intellinova units are well suited for monitoring machinery with complex operating procedures.

Portable

 

 

In addition to the standard cabinet, we offer a MIL standard carrying case, a suitable alternative for test installations or temporary monitoring of critical machines.
The Portable System Unit is comprised of a Commander Unit mounted in a sturdy MIL standard plastic carrying case (available with wireless 3G router) with connectors, internal measuring cables and a power supply unit. The case fits a full blown Intellinova system, using all the same components as the non-portable version and with all the features. This system unit allows rapid installation and is ideal for test installations, temporary monitoring of critical machines, etc. It can also be used as a multichannel logger with data acquisition based on various triggers, stand-alone or in networks.
The carrying case has TNC connectors with coax cables for bearing monitoring on 16 channels (two monitoring units), 2-pin connectors for vibration monitoring on 8 channels (one monitoring unit) and cable inlets for connection of one analog monitoring unit. The case has exterior power supply inlet with switch, network connector and status indicators. Monitoring units are ordered separately. Power supply cable is not included.

INR20 is an Intellinova System Unit for 19 inch rack mounting. It has a built-in Commander Unit with sockets for up to four monitoring units. The back panels are equipped with terminal blocks and internal cabling for connection of power supply and digital in- and outputs. The system unit has LED indicators on the front panel showing its status.
Monitoring units, back panels with internal cabling and power supply unit are ordered separately.Technical specifications for the Commander Unit are stated on data sheet TD-271. The various types of monitoring units are described on the data sheets TD-272 to TD-275.
